Galleyway is a volunteer-led community-based initiative that provides resources to BIPOC writers and poets completely free of charge.

Since its founding in 2016, Galleyway has curated more than 6,000 opportunities, which have led to emerging and mid-career writers receiving acceptance in literary journals and anthologies, as well as fellowships and residencies. Each year, hundreds of writers are showcased in our Heard/Word live event and audio series, and attend our monthly Virtual Writing Sessions, which offers writers of all disciplines an opportunity to convene with others while holding themselves accountable to completing personal projects.

To keep doing what we do, we need your help. Galleyway accepts tax-deductible donations through Fractured Atlas, an organization that provides fundraising tools to groups and individuals whose activities align with their mission to make the journey from inspiration to living practice more accessible and equitable for artists and creatives.
